Trying To Make Characters…

So I have been wanting to just try character development and actually draw characters. So I attempted and just came up with this guy.

Simple and such, but I plan to keep trying this. Was happy how it turned out.

I haven’t died.

So yes it’s been quite awhile since the last post on this thing. Your probably wondering what happened?

I decided that I wanted to join the military for certain benefits and to help me go back to college. I am planning on going back to college for a art degree or some sort of illustration etc…

I joined the U.S. Navy and am now currently being stationed in Hawaii.

Do I ever plan to draw again? YES! I miss it dearly. All this training and not having my WACOM tablet or any art stuff around me has killed my creativity and pretty much limited me to not making any art at all. I got my tablet from my Dad’s house where I had packed away in storage. So soon I will be posting again.

I miss art and I miss being on this thing. Hope to show you guys some new stuff soon!

Design Rough.

So just have been in a tattoo style of art lately. Just really exaggerated art as well. Anyways, the idea of this came from a old picture I drew years ago back when I was in high school

Anyways so I am barely through the roughing out of the drawing. So I hope to finish it. Or I may trash it.

Well I took suggestions on some more animals to draw, and I just chose these two at random. So enjoy and i also posted the pictures that I went off of to get the basic shape and posture.

New Year, New Art…

Just sketching some stuff today at work. Just wanted to doodle some today, and decided to do a simple illustration/sketch of a bear. I just Googled a image that i thought would be nice to go by.

So, I think I liked how this turned out, and may actually try and do more animals this way and style.

It’s been rough

Well hey guys. I am alive and well. I have been absent from here, cause I have not had any urge to want to post. Video games, Holidays, Gym and Life have been keeping me busy and running around. I have, however, been drawing in my sketch pad again and plan on scanning those pages and posting them.

So I did this doodle at work. Just something simple. I dunno if i will finish it. I just wanted to practice on my female heads and such. Again, this is just rough.

I plan on doing a Christmas illustration before Christmas.
